Renovations: Minister orders early repair of shrine

Hussain said terrorists it is not the first time that terrorists have attacked the mausoleum of a Sufi shrine.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Mian Iftikhar Hussain wants to initiate repair work at the shrine of Kaka Sahib at the earliest and has directed the District Coordination Officer (DCO) of Nowshera to prepare a report about the cost of work and renovations needed.


The minister gave the orders while inspecting the shrine building which was severely damaged by a bomb blast on the second day of Eidul Azha. The DCO and District Police Officer of Nowshera were present on the occasion.

“Terrorists have nothing to do with religion, belief, caste or language.

They are the anti-state elements who want to destabilize the country,” said Hussain. He condemned the attack and expressed grief over the death of four people in the attack.

Hussain said terrorists it is not the first time that terrorists have attacked the mausoleum of a Sufi shrine.

Terrorists have targeted the tombs of spiritual personalities such as Abdur Rahman Baba, Pir Baba, Akhoon Panjo Baba, Hamza Baba, Mian Umar Baba and Ajmal Khattak Baba.
