Malala, who was shot in the head by the Taliban in her native Swat on October 9, was flown to the UK on October 15 for medical care and treatment.
An update on the Birmingham hospital’s website on Sunday read that "the medical team caring for Malala say they are pleased with her progress." The update added that she is being looked after by staff from the Queen Elizabeth and Birmingham Children’s hospitals and remains in a stable condition.
Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday that Aseefa Bhutto Zardari spent Eid with Malala's family in Birmingham accompanied by the Pakistan High Commissioner to UK Wajid Shamsul Hassan.
While strongly condemning the attack on her‚ Aseefa said that the whole Pakistan is standing with Malala who has now become a national symbol of peace‚ enlightenment and women empowerment.
She also conveyed the full support of President Zardari to the family.
During meeting‚ senior officials of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital were present while Medical Director Dr Dave Rosser briefed Aseefa about Malala's health status.

In our Pakistani health system, where even with minor ailments cannot survive, she would have had no chance. Our doctors are poorly trained for more complex treatments.
And what kind of healthcare is Aseefa Bhutto Zardari in London for?
was it necessary to highlight asifa visit.why politicize it.very sad that we don't let a single opportunity pass by and not gain a head line in n/papers or breaking news on tv channels.what have we become.
I am emotionally invested in the future of this brave and lovely child - In some ways catharsis of our land is tied to the her healing. We plead God for her well-being because she represents something precious in a land where majority will just crumble when confronted with such calamity. This include myself.
what abound hundreds of other girls killed and maimed by drones and Taliban.
I can only hope that this little girl is given the chance to help Pakistan move forward and out of the stone age when it comes to education. Pakistan really has a great oppertunity right now with this little Malala. She is truely an amazing person and I can"t tell you how happy it makes me to hear she is doing well. She is the source of much insperation and hope for Pakistan and hopefully she will be that source for many years to come.
Well done great brave girl get well soon. God Almighty has answered the prayers of 180 million pakistanis for your recovery. Your photo showing your dad and brothers holding your hand together was so appealing and touching that overwhelmed every one who saw that.
Malala, Be brave, strong, honest and beacon of light for us till the end of your life. Finish your education first but please don't become another Imran Khan.
God Save The Queen.
