Sacrificial animals: ‘Remains will be promptly removed’

Solid Waste Management District Officer Dr Mazhar Azeem said that a cleanliness campaign is in progress and the remains of sacrificial animals would promptly be removed on Eidul Azha.


Talking to APP, Dr Azeem said the department had chalked out a plan to ensure cleanliness on Eid.  He said the holidays of 1,567 sanitary workers had been cancelled to collect the remains and dispose of it properly.  Earlier, Dr Azeem chaired a meeting in which the cleanliness of graveyards and Eidgahs was reviewed.
