Eid preparations: Governor reviews cleanliness drive

Says garbage should be collected on prompt basis, overall sanitation conditions should be monitored at all times.

KARACHI: Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan asked municipal authorities to complete the ongoing garbage collection operations before Eidul Azha.

While addressing a meeting at Governor House on Wednesday, Khan said garbage should be collected on a prompt basis and the overall sanitation conditions should be monitored at all times. He also directed officials to ensure that the remains of sacrificial animals are removed by evening on each day of Eid.
