ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday set November 12 as the next date for the hearing of the memogate scandal.

The date had been set for October 22, but due to the unavailability of the bench presiding over the case, the date was changed. But on Tuesday, the court issued notices to all the parties to appear on November 12.

A nine-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, will hear the controversial memo case in light of a judicial commission’s findings that found the former ambassador to the US, Hussain Haqqani, responsible of drafting the memo.

The memo sought the help of the Obama administration to avert a military takeover of the civilian government in the wake of the Osama bin Laden raid.

Supreme court may fix hundred dates for hearing but this traitor is not going to come back to Pakistan. People like Asma Jahangir are the abettors in this crime.
