No-go areas: 21 animal dealers arrested

GUJRANWALA: The livestock district officer and a special magistrate arrested 21 dealers on Sunday for selling sacrificial animals in prohibited areas. They also arrested eight shopkeepers for selling unhygienic chicken and imposed Rs17,000 fines on them. Mohammad Shabbir, Mohammad Younas, Mustanser Ali, Rana Jamshed, Mohammad Ashfaque and Mohammad Khalid were arrested for taking animals to the GT Road and Wapda Town. Mohammad Sohail, Faiz Ahmed, Ghulam Abbas, Maqbool Ahmed, Mohammad Saeed, Mohammad Kashif, Sajjad, Mohammad Khan and Mohammad Imran were held for taking animals to Nandipur Town. Mubashar, Mohammad Bilal and Naveed were arrested for selling animals at Qila Deedar Singh and Mohammad Asif, Zulfikar and Mohammad Ameen at Aroop Town.
