
Zafar Hussain, Ali Imran’s security guard, and seven elite force officials namely Muhammad Riaz, Yousaf, Mohsan, Maqsood, Fareed, Nawab Din and Khalil Ahmed were released on bail.
According to details, a woman entered a bakery shop in the remit of Defence B police to purchase a cake where an employee named Irfan told her to come after a while as the shop was closed for cleaning. Upon being refused, the woman flared up and left the shop. Later, Irfan was assaulted at the hands of the security guard and seven elite force officials.
The police, however, made no effort to identify the female customer, who was allegedly Ali Imran’s wife.
Ali Imran went to the police station and surrendered himself, stating that the incident took place on his instructions.
On Thursday, Ali Imran was presented before a magistrate’s court where the judge sent him on judicial remand.
