MULTAN:

Awami Muslim League Chairman Sheikh Rashid said on Thursday that the demand for an operation in North Waziristan was aimed at delaying the general elections.

Talking to the media at Multan Press Club, he said if there was an operation in North Waziristan, the general elections could not be held and only a negotiated transition would take place.

He said the Taliban were not responsible for every ill in Pakistan. He said India was behind many attacks on airports, the GHQ, ISI offices and air force bases. He said Taliban had never been concerned about the defence installations of Pakistan.

He said politicians were the root cause of terrorism in the country.

About Imran Khan’s visit to North Waziristan, he said it was the first message from any political party to the world that drone strikes were an unacceptable violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.

Hahaha we are a laughing stock to outside world by blaming every ill on India and US. Time to crush NWZ. No need of point of views from any extremist parties.
