According to sources, the security of all schools in Swat has been put on high alert.
Fourteen-year-old Malala was attacked on her school bus in the former Taliban stronghold of the Swat valley a few days ago as a punishment for campaigning for the right to an education and free expression.
She received a bullet to her head and is currently under treatment at a hospital in Birmingham where she faces a slow but sure road to recovery.
Malala, a cheerful schoolgirl who had wanted to become a doctor before agreeing to her father’s wishes that she strive to be a politician, has become a potent symbol of resistance against the Taliban’s efforts to deprive girls of an education.
