Highway crime: Two arrested for car snatching

Two of the four travelling in a cab were arrested when it overturned on the national highway.

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Two of the four travelling in a cab were arrested on Tuesday when it overturned on the national highway. Police said the men had hired Ahsan Pathan’s cab from near the Shaikh Zayed Hospital for Pooran village. Once on the highway, they threw Pathan out of the car. Pathan informed the police from a petrol pump and a Bhong police team chased the cab. The cab overturned near Mianwali Qureshian. Two of the robbers were injured in the accident and arrested by police. The other two managed to escape.
