Pleasant weather: ‘Exempt Sialkot from loadshedding’

SIALKOT: The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has urged the federal government to exempt the city from unscheduled load shedding. According to a press release issued on Monday, the SCCI said that a large number of factories which exported goods ere based in Sialkot. It said the government had promised to give relief to the city’s industries earlier this year. The press release said that the weather had turned pleasant now and the consumption of electricity had declined. Sialkot needs only 150 megawatts uninterrupted supply, read the statement, and the government should make good on its promise now.
