Blast in Darra Adamkhel market kills 15, several injured
Rescue efforts were initiated and the injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.
Security forces cordoned off the area and a search operation was initiated.
Being the main market of the area, Firdous Market was crowded when the bomb blast took place.
Reuters reported that the incident was a suicide bombing while Express News reported that the bomb was planted in a mini truck.
The target of the attack in the town of Darra Adam Khel appeared to be members of a pro-government militia created to fight Taliban militants, the officials said, adding that the death toll may rise because scores of people were wounded.
The Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Darra Adamkhel spokesperson, who called from an undisclosed location, said the group had nothing to do with the explosion.
"Innocent people were killed, we condole with the families," Muhammad Afridi told The Express Tribune. "We do not target marketplaces."
At least 10 shops were also destroyed in the blast and many vehicles were damaged.

@PS: The TTP is not innocent but it is not a monolithic entity. Several groups claim TTP identity. Sometimes this group does it, sometimes another. Not all TTP groups are free of foreign influence.
Send the terrorists of Karachi to deal with the TTP.

TTP denied the allegation.According to them they committed no such act.According to the statement recorded by the TTP spocksman from undisclosed location,TTP avoides to play with lives of innocent people.

I didn't know these drones fly from Dara adam khel so Taliban are justified in attacking these people.... If it is the government then people should know that Army is not strong enough to stop these attacks and is only saving it honour by allowing drones.
