Militants strike: TTP kills Barawal peace militia chief
According to initial reports, the accused fled across the border after killing the chief.

Barawal peace militia chief, Malik Gul Zada, was gunned down by militants near the Pak-Afghan border in Upper Dir Wednesday evening.
A report filed by Bacha Zada, son of Malik Gul Zada, stated that his father was gunned down near the Sabar check-point on Pak-Afghan border while he was patrolling the area.
According to initial reports, the accused fled across the border after killing the chief.
An official of the security forces said that the victim might have been killed by his adversaries or over an old enmity. Talking to the journalists from an undisclosed location, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Malakand spokesperson Sirajud Din claimed responsibility for the murder.
