Cattle for sale: Markets to be set up in designated areas

The Sindh home department banned setting up cattle markets under Section 144 in unauthorised locations.

KARACHI: The Sindh home department banned setting up cattle markets under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code in unauthorised locations from October 10 till Eidul Azha.

Areas other than the Super Highway, Malir No. 15, Asoo Goth, Cattle Colony, Landhi, Rice Godown, Landhi, Hamdard University, Manghopir Road and Moach Goth, Baldia Town with immediate effect.

If such markets are established in unauthorised areas then the police is authorised under Section 165(1) (a) of the Criminal Procedure Code to register the complaints against the perpetrators.
