Salaries unpaid: Khassadar force personnel stage protest

MIRANSHAH: Khassadar force personnel staged a protest on Wednesday against the non-payment of salaries. Khassadars, hailing from Tori Khel tr`ibe, gathered in front of Miramshah Press Club in North Waziristan Agency and while chanting slogans to release their salaries. They asked the authorities concerned to release their salaries within one week, threatening to block the Bannu-Miramshah main road otherwise. Their salaries were closed after a blast in Mir Ali tehsil. They said that we discussed the issue with the political agent in a Jirga but no action was taken in this regard.
