Extending support: Govt briefs World Bank officials

KARACHI: A World Bank team met with provincial government officials on Tuesday, where they were briefed about various agricultural and poverty alleviation programmes that the government has undertaken. Chief Secretary Raja Mohammad Abbas appreciated the bank’s role in supporting the food, agriculture, livestock and fisheries programmes in the province.
