No gas for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab

SNGPL on Tuesday announced that Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab will have a five-day gas holiday starting September 13.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) on Tuesday announced that all industrial units in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab will have a so called five-day gas holiday starting September 13, where they will continuous gas loadshedding.


Meanwhile, CNG will also be shut off on September 14, 15 and 18. across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.


The company blamed the shut offs on an increased shortfall between the demand and supply of natural gas also highlighting the annual 10-day closure of the Qadirpur gas field.
