LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Friday instructed his party officials to remove all his pictures from public and private institutions immediately.

He said he was informed that many MQM members, officials and sympathisers have placed his pictures at various institutions.

According to a MQM press release, Hussain further stressed that institutions should not be used for political activities.

The MQM chief also told his party members to avoid arguing about the presence of pictures of other leaders in the institutions.

Correction: The word "institutions" was earlier misspelled in the story. The error is regretted.

A good decision. Must be followed by others. It is hoped that in future similar decision shall be taken about the party flags and wall chalking.

to all those people who claim he should come back..y should he? he has already stated he will not be in any ministry nor will he stand for pm or presidents position its the "legal" middle class party workers who stand for these posts, he has set examples of good leadership by giving the country idols like Mr. Mustafa kamal and faisal sabzwari, he has promoted education like no other party, he has supported the middle class while all the other parties are too busy in preparing to extinct the middle class so they may get richer and the poor get poorer..i dont support any party i support those who support Pakistan and that is what il advice all of u to do:)
