Determination: ‘Baloch to continue struggle politically’

NP leader Shahwani says Baloch people are fighting to keep ownership on resources that belong to them.

QUETTA: Announcing that the Baloch would continue their struggle for rights through political means, the leader of the National Party (NP), Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani said that the Baloch people are fighting to keep ownership on resources that belong to them. In a statement issued by the NP, Shahwani said that all atrocities meted out to the Baloch have been meant to rob them of these rich resources but the Baloch will “never surrender their rights.” Addressing the issue of disappearances, Shahwani said that thousands of young people in Balochistan have been tortured and many disappear on a daily basis.
