Crime: 46 arrested in a day
Police seized 225g heroin, 82 bottles of liquor, eight 0.30-bore pistols, three rifles, one revolver and 14 cartridges
FAISALABAD:
Police said they had arrested 46 men on Wednesday from various parts of the city. Operations SSP Sadiq Ali Dogar said those arrested included 22 proclaimed offenders, a court absconder, 12 drug peddlers and 11 men possessing illicit weapons. They seized 225g of heroin, 82 bottles of liquor, eight 0.30-bore pistols, three rifles, one revolver and 14 cartridges. They also arrested two men for being drunk.
