Whether you are heading to a casual outdoor affair or getting dolled up for a formal evening event, you can match up a pair of sexy black pants with anything and you are all set to go.  The Express Tribune found local and international fashionistas that rocked and shocked in classic black lowers:

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba hit the red carpet at the 2012 Environmental Media Awards in this Narisco Rodriguez outfit, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and Jimmy Choo bag. The saucy actor looked fantastic in a white jacket and matching blouse with a slit revealing a yummy glimpse of lacy lingerie, and baggy black trousers. The side swept ponytail over her shoulder gave her the perfect oomph factor.

Katie Holmes

Katie attended the preview of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week wearing black leather blazers paired with black stretch pants. She jazzed up her look with a long gold necklace, gold beaded heels and brown sunnies. Her minimal make-up added more flavour to her look and she looked as hot as ever.

Kalki Koechlin

The Bollywood actor of French descent stole our heart with her high-street style at Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday bash. The 29-year-old wore a see-through white sheer top over black pants with minimal accessories and barely there make-up. Two thumbs up!

Shenae Grimes

The 90210 star looked sexy in a black silky top with a tie at the neck paired with these leggy black skinny leather pants and a textured jacket. We love the crossbody bag and black pointed platform pumps!

Kim Basinger

The 58-year-old blonde actor sported a two-piece black tuxedo paired with a pussy-bow style white blouse at the premiere of her new political film Black November in New York. Kim looked fabulous in these androgynous black pants when she hit the red-carpet.

Malika Sherawat

Bollywood actor Mallika Sherawat may have a hot body, but it seems she can only look hot when she’s showing skin. We’re not crazy about the peacock print top or ill-fitting satin pants.

Guest

This guest at the launch of the Propaganda store in Lahore sported a pink polka dot top over black skinny pants and black pumps. Her messy hair-do is giving her the oomph factor and the hot pink pout and red nail colour are the cherry on top.
