Read to learn: Book fairs to continue throughout Oct

Books will be available at discounted rates at Oxford University Press book fairs.

KARACHI: The Oxford University Press (OUP) bookshops will organise book fairs across the country till the end of October, where books will be available at discounted rates. The organisers of the month-long event hope to attract librarians, professionals, and students and teachers of schools, colleges, and universities. The fair will feature a diverse selection of reading material, including locally published children’s books, English language teaching materials, reference books and textbooks. Among the eagerly awaited titles will be the first graphic novel in Urdu, on the life of philanthropist Abdus Sattar Edhi. Colouring competitions, word games, quizzes, story-telling sessions and other activities will also be organised at some OUP bookshops. Meanwhile, the Oxford Mobile Bookshop will also be travelling across Sindh in October.
