Pakistan spending Rs90 bn per month in war on terror: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan claimed on Sunday that Pakistan was spending Rs90 billion per month in the war on terror, Express News reported.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Khan said that the rally to South Waziristan would comprise of international media representatives and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), adding that they will inform the drone victims that the people in America and Europe were also against drone attacks.

Also speaking to the media, seconding Khan, former United States ambassador Anne Wright said that including her, many other Americans were against drone strikes.

Criticising the recently released anti-Islam film in the US, representatives of American NGOs said that they condemned the film, adding that it incited hatred which had hurt the sentiments of both Muslims and Americans as well.
