Speaking to media at the Karachi airport, Hussain said it’s everyone’s responsibility to ensure peace in Balochistan. “It is not a matter of six points or one point,” he said referring to the demands made by former provincial chief minister Sardar Akhtar Mengal including the suspension of covert and overt military operations in Balochistan, recovery of missing persons, and disbanding ‘death squads’ operating under the supervision of secret agencies.
Hussain said a party committee, under the leadership of Mushahid Hussain, has chalked out the solutions for the problems of Balochistan which need to be implemented.
The PML-Q leader further said that the popularity of all the political parties will be known to everyone by the end of the next elections.
He added that the issue of law and order in Karachi needs attention from all quarters.

hello to those who want free Baluchistan .we Pakistani are facing the same problem in whole Pakistan some of us dose not get food some are with out shelter some are being killed by target killer some are being killed by flood .we Pakistani are facing great problems but THIS rDOES NO MEAN THAT WE SHOULD DIVIDE .WE SHOULD WORK TOGETHER FOR BETTER PAKISTAN BECAUSE BETTER PAKISTAN BETTER BALUCHISTAN .just give me guarantee that after being divided your problem will be solved
Wrong again, Balochistan was, is n will remain one of the province of Pakstan n no one must think otherwise. 2ndly, rule of law n rit of government cannot/must not be ignored at that end. 3rdly, if Balochi's are allowed to have domicile in other provinces, there's absolutely no reason or excuse for Balochi's not allow the same (by the way it should apply in other areas as well like Sawat, Sindh etc) Punjab should not be expected to entertain others freely. Each province should have Army Contonment, especially sensitive provinces such as Balochistan. 4thly, all/any Sardar's system in the province needs to be abolished. 5thly, all/any mineral n other assets of each province needs to be in Center Control (its ridiculous to even think that under developed province's would be capable to manage it themselves).
@Mujib ul Hassan: Honest solutions can be presented by the people of balochistan and its true leadership only. And leadership can be choosen by the people of balochistan in an environment of peaceful elections.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain the President of PML Q has always been vague or sometimes deliberately ambiguous on national issues. The tendency of appeasing all and trying to play safe has not raised his stature but unfortunately undermined his political standing in public. The issue of bad governance in Baluchistan and violations of human rights can no longer be mired. Giving a simple statement that no one has the solution but the people of Baluchistan has the answer amounts to saying that there is no need of political parties' role or of the role of the judiciary and the executive. If this argument is to be accepted then Mr. Shujaat should disband his party in Baluchistan and leave the people of the respective constituencies to decide at their own. Because the present political leadership lacks vision to lead does not mean that the judicial organ of the State be criticized of the good work being done. The Supreme Court in missing persons’ case has already observed that there is complete breakdown of government in Baluchistan. This observation is not based upon conjectures but based upon hard facts. Even the Chief Minister of Baluchistan prefers to stay in Islamabad and is reluctant to visit the marooned populace. Let us face the reality. The province of Baluchistan is not duly represented in Parliament and services. Only a senile leader like Mir Zafrullah Jamali can be made a prime minister by political gimmick and not by a solid massive support like the one enjoyed by politicians of Punjab, Sindh and KPK.. In nutshell the leaders should now stop the rhetoric and come up with some honest solutions.[link text] [1]

Sir, we support you, whole heartedly.
I think this is the only solution. A good proposition
A very thoughtful and reallistic answer coming from a politician. Stop blame game and decide for yourself, it is not dictator rule but a democracy. Unfortunately common Baluchi get affected but do not want to decide anything not liked by the Sardars. Sardars are the biggest problem and sectarian killers second followed by Taliban affiliated groups. Solve these first you will have everything OK.
A man of wisdom indeed.
No kidding!
.This man has spelled the solution squarely. The problem can be solved only by the people of our province. Balochistan is a multi ethnic, multi lingual, multi cultural problem pluralistic society being hijacked by violent militant groups. The situation has been deliberately confused by a section of media and some political forces. Judiciary in order to assert itself newfound position in the power structure messed the issue to gain political mileage. There cannot be solution to Balochistan problem without the participation of all stake holders. With 48% Pashtun and 5% settlers, Balochistan problem cannot be baloch problem alone. Judiciary has ignored the deaths of Pashtun, Settlers, Hazaras and the Soldiers at the hands of disbanded militant organizations and has shown through its remarks and decisions, that parallel armies and militias are legal. (Decision of LaL Masjid). So Chaudry Shujaat is right in pointing that the solution has to come from all the stake holders of Balochistan.
