Addressing the party activists, district chief of JI Sultan Muhammad appreciated Bilour’s announcement of $100,000 bounty. “After such a courageous movie by Bilour, the love for the Prophet (pbuh) demands us to extend the offer to him for JI,” Muhammad said.
He further said that the JI workers in Mardan had made an addition to his bounty amount and now its $200,000 instead of $100,000.
The JI chief also called the people to participate in the Hurmat-e-Rasool Conference on September 30 in the district.
After Bilour’s announcement, the government and Bilour’s own party, the Awami National Party, have distanced themselves from Bilour. The federal minister also faces party disciplinary action which will be initiated once party chief Asfandyar Wali returns from the US.
On Wednesday, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesperson Ihsanullah Ahsan said that they have exempted Bilour from their ‘black list’ after such a courageous statement.
