Talking to the media in Islamabad, he said that the cricketers under the Article-4 of the constitution have committed cheating, adding that the allegations of match fixing has left its dire consequences on fund raising campaigns for flood victims across the country.
He also pointed out that the nation is waiting for judicial verdict on the 18th Amendment for the past five months. Judges appointment procedure has been clearly defined in 18th Amendment as by establishing parliamentary commission judges appointment issue could be solved, Babar maintained.
Federal minister also clarified that the government is not responsible for delay in judicial commission formation, adding that the 18th Amendment could restraint military adventurism.
He also termed the statement from MQM chief Altaf Hussain as political, adding that PML-N should disburse resources for the flood victims instead of spending for advertisement campaigns.
