This is one of the best preserved heritages of the African diaspora in Brazil. It is a fun way to have an artistic and social experience and to learn about self-defence. It emphasises the struggle for freedom and the need for community by taking an inclusive approach to fostering stronger ties. The instructor, Ammar Latif is working on establishing Pakistan’s first official capoeira group as a permanent fixture of Islamabad’s cultural scene. Classes will start from October 2,  at House 1, Street 72, F-8/3. Prospective capoeira players must register through e-mail capoeira@embassyofbrazil.com.pk.
