RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday gave the Judge Advocate General (JAG) until October 16 to submit a reply in response to four identical petitions filed by former army officials. Justice Mehmood Maqbool Bajwa directed a standing counsel representing the federation to convey the order to the JAG. The former majors were convicted by a military court for having links with Hizbut Tahrir, a banned organisation. They had moved the court on Wednesday, saying they had requested the JAG to provide them with copies of the investigation report, a summary of evidence with charge sheet, the convening order and committal warrants. Their request had been turned down through a letter on September 19.
