European linguistics: Edwardes College organises special test honouring languages

Edwardes College organised a special test on Wednesday marking International European Languages Day.


“We made this test to help people in eastern countries master European languages,” said Alwin Edwin, head of English department at Edwardes College. Edwin said the test was desgined to check the subjective and objective performance of students.

Talking about the importance of literature, he said it was a trait that students of the subjects could adjust themselves in many environments.  “English is necessary in all fields. You cannot be a good banker or lawyer if your English is weak,” he added.

Students also eagerly prepared for the test, including Zeeshan Khan, who said that he worked hard for the test.
