Karachi killings: City violence claims nine lives

KARACHI: In the latest spate of killings in Karachi, around nine people – including a woman among political activists – were killed, Express News reported on Wednesday.

An unknown armed man opened fire in the Golimaar area and killed two people including a political activist. While one was killed in the Garden area and another in Dalmia.

In similar firing incidents, two people were shot dead near Chamrah Chowrangi and Faqeer Colony.

A tortured body was recovered near the Mirza Adam Khan Road in Lyari.

Another person was killed outside his residence in the Federal B area. While a woman was put to death in Landhi.

bilal | 12 years ago | Reply I also know some one who died in target killing..... he was from interior... but i guess target killing shall be stopped ..... target killings in Karachi are based on ethnicity !...I now consider Lahore and Islamabad far better than Karachi.. ! May ALLAH be with those who suffered loss to target killings-ameen !
