Positive reinforcement: Delegation visits students in Cuba

Will meet 308 Pakistani students studying medicine in the University Of Medical Sciences Of Santa Clara.

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani Senate delegation headed by Nayyer Hussain Bokhari recently visited Santa Clara, capital of the Villa Clara province of Cuba, to meet with 308 Pakistani students studying medicine in the University Of Medical Sciences Of Santa Clara.  A number of students studying in other provinces of Cuba were also present at the occasion, said a news release. The delegation currently visiting Cuba includes Senator Saeed Ghani, Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan, Senator Nuzhat Sadiq and Secretary Senate Iftikhar Ullah Babar. Chairman of the senate and members of his delegation were warmly received by the rector of the university and Pakistani students. During a presentation given to the delegation, the rector of the university praised the performance of Pakistani students and said that they were “among the best students of the university.”
