Strong bonds: ‘UK, Pakistan share friendly ties’
Pakistan’s Counsul General in Birmingham says Britain is one of the biggest aid providers to Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Counsul General (CG) in Birmingham Shair Bahader Khan has said that strong relations exist between Pakistan and Britain and both the countries will continue to cooperate with each other in all spheres of life. Talking to Pakistani journalists, Bahader Khan, the newly appointed CG in Birmingham, said Britain is one of the biggest aid providers to Pakistan and is the first priority destination for the Pakistani students for their education. Around 1.3 million British Pakistanis are playing an important role in the progress and development of British society, he added. He said that Islamabad was dedicated to facilitating overseas Pakistanis and ensuring that their concerns were addressed.
