Crime: 13 proclaimed offenders arrested

FAISALABAD: City police on Thursday claimed to have arrested 13 proclaimed offenders (POs), six court absconders, five drug peddling suspects and 13 for possession of illicit weapons. Inspector Aamir Waheed, the public relations officer in the office of the city police officer (CPO), said 110 grams of heroin, 435 grams of charas, 45 bottles of liquor, nine pistols (0.3-bore), four guns and 15 cartridges were recovered from the suspects. Separate cases have been registered against the suspects and investigation started.
