Improving linkages: IWCCI and PHDCCI sign MoU

IWCCI and PHDCCI have agreed to establish and develop commercial links between business communities of both countries.

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) and the Punjab, Haryana, Delhi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote trade and investment and improve linkages between the business communities of India and Pakistan. The MoU was signed by IWCCI founder President Samina Fazil, and former president of PHDCCI Ravi Vig. IWCCI and PHDCCI have agreed to establish and develop commercial links between the business communities of both countries in general, and their respective members in particular. According to the MoU, both trade bodies will constantly to improve cooperation, assist trade missions, exchange information and find other methods for promotion of trade.
