In a meeting held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday, Zardari and General Kayani concluded that no involvement from an outside force would be accepted if there is an operation.
Briefing the president, the army chief said that the area has been cleared of militants.
He also briefed the president on his meeting with US deputy secretary of defence Peter Lavoy, along with chairman joint chiefs of staff committee Khalid Shamim Wynne.

Eye wash for public. Present govt. can not afford to risk any military operation before the general election . Such statements are given to assure the domestic as well as the international media and the people that they are serious on this issue.
