Road accident: Woman and daughter killed, 20 injured

MIRPUR: A woman and her infant daughter were killed while 20 other passengers were wounded in a road accident near Muzaffarabad on Tuesday morning. Police said that a Toyota Hiace carrying 22 passengers skidded off road and fell in to a ravine in Asgharabad area of Raara, killing the woman and her child and injured others. Rescue workers and officials of the Secretariat Police Station shifted the injured passengers to the Combined Military Hospital Muzaffarabad. The police registered a case against the van driver and started investigations.
