FAISALABAD:

The Regional Training Centre of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) should revise its training progarmme and add courses on information technology, FESCO Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engineer Iftikhar Ahmed said on Monday.

He was speaking to participants of a training course at the RTC. CEO Ahmed said every Fesco employee should be trained in the use of information technology. “This will improve the efficiency of consumer service,” he said.

He also said the RTC should immediately relocate to its new building. Earlier, XEN Shahbaz Ahmad briefed the CEO on the training courses being offered at the RTC and Circle Training Centres in Jhang and Sargodha.

The CEO hoped that with relocation to the new building the RTC would be able to expand operations and very soon complete training of all 16,000 Fesco staff.
