Ied Blast: Two paramilitary personnel injured

BARA: Two paramilitary personnel were critically injured when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded on Monday in Shalobar area of Bara subdivision.

One official belonged to the Frontier Corps, while the other was from the Frontier Constabulary, said an official in Bara. They were guarding a security checkpoint when the blast occurred.

Both the personnel were rushed to the Hayatabad Medical Complex in critical conditions.

Paramilitary personnel have launched a search operation in the troubled area to investigate the matter. This was the fourth such incident in the last 10 days, increasing the casualty count to four. Two civilians have also died in the attacks. x
