Training tour: Japanese ship makes port call

Japanese Maritime Self Defence Forces (JMSDF) training ship JS Kashima is on an official five-day visit to Karachi, a Pakistan Navy press release said on Saturday. Rear Admiral Hidetoshi Fuchinoue, Squadron Commander along with officers and sailors of the ship laid floral wreath at Mazar-e-Quaid. Later Fuchinoue called on the Naval Admin Authorities at Karachi. In these meetings matters pertaining to operational and training were discussed. The Japanese naval cadets visited Pakistan Naval Academy and other PN Units at Karachi. JS Kashima will also hold a passage exercise with Pakistan Navy ships.
