Get the look: A hint of glamour

Minissha Lamba dazzled at the launch of Maxim’s special in Mumbai. The actor’s stylists opted for a minimalistic and sharp look which has won her two thumbs up from us.

Make-up

Celebrity make-up artist Pritam gave Minissha a sun-kissed look using nude eye shadow and lip gloss. Special emphasis was put on the apples of her cheeks to give the actor a fresh look. Try the Peach Melba blush-on by Luscious Cosmetics to get this subdued glamazon effect on your cheeks. Made with multi-toned pigments and light-reflecting shimmer, these blush-ons are sure to bring extra oomph to your overall look for not more than Rs600.  Due it’s high colour and shimmer content, the blush-on can also be rubbed lightly onto the eyelids to get Manissha’s look.

Hair

Her side swept sleek hair is styled in a high bun with a few strands left to highlight the shape of her face. Tie a high bun by rolling your hair and pinning them up. Take out a few strands with the back of your comb and straighten them.

Outfit

Minissha looked sexy in Rohit Gandhi top and Rahul Khanna sheath skirt. The long sleeved black and metallic number from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection of the designer duo fit her like a glove. You will probably have to put two separates together to get this look (Rs3,500). Rummage through the racks of Mantra to find fancy, metallic skirts and then pair them up with full sleeved black shirts from either Mango or Debenhams (Rs4,000). Black stilettos sell like hot cake; therefore, finding them at your favourite shoe store wouldn’t really be an issue.

Accessories

The actor accessorised with black pointy pumps from her personal collection, a box clutch and a black statement necklace by Jessie S Label. Even though Mango has upped its game in the accessory department, we still have our hearts set on Accessorize. Look for statement piece that suits your needs the best (starting at about Rs2,000).
