ABBOTABAD: The court of a session judge in Abbottabad recovered five minor children being kept illegally by their fathers and handed them over to their mothers on Wednesday. In the first case, the court’s bailiff recovered Zoya, Muniba, Tayab and Khizar - all aged below five years - and handed them over to their mother, Khadija Bibi, of Dhamtor village on orders of District Judge Arshad Khan. The judge issued the orders in response to a petition filed by Khadija, in which she maintained that her husband forcibly took away her four minor children after she sent him papers for divorce. She said she has been living with her parents after developing differences with her husband. In the second case, the court bailiff recovered 14-month-old Rehan from the custody of his father, Tauqir, from Bagnotar village and handed him over to his mother, Shaista Bibi. She too had developed differences with her husband and had been living with her parents.
