Protest: Lawyers condemn killing of colleague
They demanded that religious minorities should be given complete protection.

The lawyers’ community boycotted court proceedings in protest over the brutal killing of Additional Sessions Judge Syed Zulfiqar Naqvi by militants in Quetta. While condemning the incident, they demanded that the culprits be brought to justice. Talking to newsmen, Attock District Bar Association Syed Azmat Ali Bukhari termed the episode a failure on the government’s part, adding that anti-state elements were creating sectarian strife among various communities but the federal government had failed to nab the militants. They demanded that religious minorities should be given complete protection.
