D-day: Students pass with flying colours

Nearly 50 per cent of the 26 students who gave the exams got through, but no one managed to score A1 or A grades.

KARACHI: Out of the 351 students who sat their intermediate part-1 home economics examinations this year, around 59 per cent were successful, said the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi in a statement released on Thursday. These candidates were enrolled at the Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home Economics, the only public institution in the city which offers the course. The board also announced the result for Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre’s college of medical technology’s final year results. Nearly 50 per cent of the 26 students who gave the exams got through, but no one managed to score A1 or A grades.
