Targeted explosion: Three militants killed, two injured

The bomb was planted around 68 kilometres west of Ghiljo, headquarters of Upper Orakzai Agency.

KALAYA: Three militants were killed while two were injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast in Mamozai area of Upper Orakzai Agency on Thursday. According to an official of the security forces, the bomb was planted around 68 kilometres west of Ghiljo, headquarters of Upper Orakzai Agency. A group of militants were patrolling the area near a mosque in Ado Khel area of Mamozai when the explosion occured, killing two on the spot and injuring two others. A tribal elder of Ado Khel tribe said that soon after the incident, their comrades rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to an undisclosed

location. He identified the dead as Amir Sher, Sikandar and Kazim and said that the injured Ismail and Bazid Khan were rushed to the hospital in Ghiljo.
