Dispute: Man kidnapped for ransom

MANSEHRA: A man was allegedly kidnapped for ransom over a property dispute, police said on Wednesday. Naran Police quoted Sabir Hussain of Bata Kundi village as saying that his father went missing from home last week. Despite hectic efforts, the family failed to find any clue of him. However on Tuesday, the complainant received a call from an unknown number and the caller asked him to either pay Rs5 million as ransom or hand over the family’s agricultural land in the village. The complainant accused Noor Muhammad, Zaid and Bashir, sons of Abdul Rauf of the same village for kidnapping his father as he claimed that the family had a property dispute with them.
