Tennis: Juniors train to compete internationally
US-trained tennis coach feels juniors in Sindh will need at least a year to improve their fitness, skills.
KARACHI:
US-trained tennis coach Changaiz Hassan feels that the juniors in Sindh will need at least a year to improve their fitness and skills to be able to compete at the international level. Hassan, 27, is currently supervising a junior training programme, organised by the Sindh Tennis Association (STA), that began on Monday. “Right now, I am just doing drills with the players,” Hassan told The Express tribune. “We will also set up camps in interior Sindh. I’m here for a year and I will be working with these players closely so they can develop their skills properly for international events.”
