Rest in peace: Dead dolphin washes ashore

SUKKUR: The body of a blind Indus dolphin was found near the Satiyan jo Asthan area near Rohri on Tuesday. People in the area immediately informed the wildlife department, who rushed to the scene. Later, the dead dolphin was taken to the Dolphin Centre at Lab-e-Mehran, Sukkur and buried. The Sukkur deputy wildlife conservator, Ghulam Mohammad Gadani, said that the dolphin was five-foot long, male and weighed 30 kilogrammes.
