KHAIRPUR: A violent armed clash between the Nareeja and Kalhora tribes in Khairpur’s Kaccha area has left seven public dead. Armed members of the Nareeja tribe attacked the Bhandi Kalhora village limits at sunset, using latest automatic weapons and even rocket launchers, torching the village before they left. The sudden attack took the unprepared Kalhora tribe by surprise, while the Nareeja tribe has accused the Kalhora of perpetuating the attack. Four Kalhora tribesmen died due to firing and rocketing, while three were burnt to death after attackers torched the village, raising possibilities of more casualties.
