Careless overtaking: Two die in road accident
Police said the woman passenger and a conductor of a coaster she was trying to board were hit by a speeding van.

A man and a woman died on Monday after being hit by a speeding van in Thikriwala area. Police said the woman passenger and a conductor of a coaster she was trying to board were hit by a speeding van. The conductor was helping her board the coaster. Both of them were injured and taken to a nearby hospital, but did not survive. The driver of the van fled the scene. The conductor was later identified as Tanveer Sohail, a resident of Chak 74-JB, and the woman as Fatima Bibi, a resident of Chak 70-JB. Police have registered a case against the driver of the van responsible for the accident.
