Family tragedy: Three drown as car falls in canal

BAHWALPUR: Three people drowned when a car fell into the Shashmahi Canal near Bagochi bridge on Sunday. The car was carrying four people from Ahmadpur East to Laal Sohanra when it spun out of control near the bridge and fell into the canal. A Rescue team pulled out all four from the canal and tried to revive them. However, Muhammad Sajid, Seema Umar and Bushra Umar died. Rao Umar Daraaz, a line superintendent in Wapda, was saved.
